About The Position

The purpose of the Technical Service Training Manager is to develop, initiate, and provide professional technical expertise and training in a profitable and ethical manner to Southwest FAD Dealers to include, contractors, dealers, school boards, and various government agencies to ensure that products provided by Mingledorff’s and it subsidiaries (“Company”) are safely and properly evaluated, installed, serviced, and maintained.

Requirements

  • 5 years of HVAC Industry experience required
  • 5 years training experience required
  • Proficient MS Office experience
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Possess a satisfactory driving record as determined by Company Driver Policies
  • Qualify for and remain insurable under Company liability insurance policy

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Engineering, Communications, or a related field, preferred
  • EPA certified preferred
  • NATE certified preferred
  • Certified “Train the Trainer” preferred
  • Strong electrical background preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide all technical support for Southwest CFAD and BFAD dealers
  • Maintain all 100% satisfaction guarantees for all Southwest CFAD and BFAD dealers
  • Oversee the development, initiate, and monitor profitable training courses that satisfy or exceed customer expectations
  • Promote dealer/contractor development in service expertise and customer service
  • Develop and deliver training programs that coincide with Company goals and dealer/contractor/customer needs, including spring and fall training will all CFAD and BFAD dealers
  • Manage and perform training and onboarding of all new CFAD and BFAD dealers with onsite mobile cart or dealer’s showroom
  • Conduct site visits with CFAD and BFAD dealers to troubleshoot and resolve problem jobs
  • Manage all concessions with CFAD and BFAD groups requiring factory support
  • Develop new accounts/customers by promoting calling on customers, then tailoring specialized training programs for their specific needs.
  • Schedule training programs based on current product use and identified skills/competencies’ needs
  • Promote feedback from course participants to enhance the learning experience for those attending
  • Attend courses that provide instructor educational and growth opportunities
  • Perform some of the same functions as other Mingledorff’s Technical Support Managers (site visits and back up phones)
  • Conduct research for future training opportunities/topics
  • Work cooperatively with others
  • Maintain regular, punctual and reliable attendance and availability
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures
