About The Position

Technical Signals Analyst The Opportunity: As a Technical Signals Analyst, you know that the intelligence community provides national leaders the information they need to keep our country safe. As a lead intelligence analyst at Booz Allen, you’ll use your proficient problem-solving skills to secure national assets through research and analysis of sensitive information. We’re looking for someone like you to help our clients obtain information superiority and map the complex electromagnetic spectrum to outpace evolving adversarial threats. As an intelligence analyst on our team, you’ll lead our national intelligence clients in the areas of waveform characterization, RF theory, and advanced signal processing. Overseeing a team of highly technical signal analysts and protocol analysts, you’ll develop and deploy cutting-edge technology. From project discovery to influencing mission stakeholders, you’ll guide your team as it solves complex problems that have an end-to-end impact on our nation. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience conducting technical signals analysis, including multiple terrestrial and satellite-based signal types
  • Experience conducting analysis against signals across a variety of signal type, including waveform analysis and signal data transmission analysis, across the entire Radio Frequency (RF) spectrum
  • Experience leveraging government and commercial software to create signal wave propagation models that clearly communicate how RF signals travel in various terrains, including rural or urban environments
  • Experience conducting analysis on SIGINT and other intelligence types to deliver clear, actionable recommendations to technical and non-technical clients, including leadership
  • Knowledge of a variety of signal protocols and data transmission methods, including CDMA, FDMA, and OFDMA
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Analysis field

Nice To Haves

  • 15+ years of experience in technical signals analysis on a variety of signal types
  • Experience executing analysis in support of both military and non-military clients
  • Master’s degree in an Engineering, Analysis, or similar field
  • Amateur Radio Certification at the Technician Class or higher
