About The Position

This role will reside within the ATC Services Sales Team with the Advanced Technology Center organization.  This resource will be responsible for selling ATC Lab Services testing opportunities in the Compute and Storage technology and solution domain spaces.  This role will work with a wide range of compute and storage technologies and will focus heavily on solutions in demand by WWT customers. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge and expertise with full stack infrastructure architecture including a deep technical knowledge in Networking, Virtualization, and Compute as well as a broad level of understanding storage, cloud, S3, and communication protocols.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in a related field
• Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Information Technology or related field 
• Certifications from Vmware, Dell Compute, HPE Compute, Cisco Compute, Windows, Linux OS platforms, HCI, Communications Platforms preferred.
• Certifications from NetApp, Dell/EMC storage offerings, PURE, VAST, Qumulo, Hitachi, HPE, IBM, Rubrik, Commvault, and others preferred
• Up to 10% of domestic travel required 
• 7-10 years of information storage experience as an engineer/architect. The ideal candidate will have combined experience as a storage practitioner, storage consultant
• 7-10 years experience with one or more of the following: Vmware, Dell Compute, HPE Compute, Cisco Compute, Windows Server platforms, Linux OS platforms, and an understanding of HCI and communication protocols
• Expert ability to perform concurrent tasks and projects in complex environments and adjusting priorities
• Expert knowledge of current and upciming technologies and operations in compute and storage as well as AI.
• Ability to communicate and modify approach, language, and style to different audiences include executive levels
• Expert experience in organizing resources, establishing priorities, and leading storage and compute initiatives and projects
• Must have excellent communication skills, writing skills, and the ability to work with team members at all levels
• Expert level experience selling IT technology services in Compute and Storage technology areas

• Compute and/or Storage certifications are preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with customers, OEM partners, and internal teams, serving as a primary technical escalation point
• Independently own and drive pre‑sales lab opportunities
• Lead and coordinate calls with account teams, OEMs, and customer stakeholders
• Conduct and support ATC tours, onsite customer/OEM visits, and executive briefings
• Provide technical leadership during customer conversations
• Support business development and marketing initiatives for ATC Lab Services opportunities
• Create architectural diagrams, access guides, test plans, and documentation
• Support creation of Price/Cost Estimates and Statements of Work.
• Provide expert level technical input and direction throughout lifecycle ( scoping through delivery) of lab opportunities
• Understand multiple security and technology domains
• Foster OEM and Vendor partnerships that relate to selling ATC Lab Services opportunities
• Ensure smooth transition to ATC delivery operations post‑sale
• Deep technical acumen around Vmware, Dell Compute, HPE Compute, Cisco Compute, Windows Server platforms, Linux OS platforms, and an understanding of HCI and communication protocols
• Deep technical knowledge of NetApp, Dell/EMC storage offerings, PURE, VAST, Qumulo, Hitachi, HPE, IBM, and performance testing
• Expert level experience selling IT technology services in Compute and Storage technology areas
