About The Position

We are offering a summer internship opportunity within our Technical Writing & Engineering Department. We will consider students that are currently enrolled in a two-year or four-year degree in Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing or other related programs. This position will accommodate a flexible schedule.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Aid in the presenting of complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
• Assist with the interviewing of and collaboration with Subject Matter Experts to develop essential content
• Organize material and complete assignments according to company standards and templates
• Assist in the creation and selection of photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams and charts to illustrate material
• Follow established procedures for document updates (Engineering Change Orders, process updates, and best practices)
• Assist in the editing and standardization of materials prepared by others in the company
• Assist in document storage and organization projects
