About The Position

Surface Experts Technician Apprentice might be the job for you! Enjoy using your creativity to problem-solve repairs that typically take less than an hour. We Offer: Pay range of $20 to $25 per hour includes base pay and performance-based bonuses Monthly bonus program depending on add-on repairs Pay raise following paid training completion Direct four-week track to Surface Repair Technician No weekends, late nights, or evenings (overtime is available) Paid holidays and paid time off Use of company car to drive to work sites, as well as parking, gas, and tool stipends Duties: Display world-class customer service for tenants and property management staff Track work progress and daily notes in our dispatch tool, including before and after pictures Understand and utilize our unique 5-step repair process While onsite, "walk the unit" to look for potential repair jobs and capture add-on bonus Work closely with the owner and sales team to deliver high-quality repairs Employ each tool in your custom tool-kit Communicate with the support team with questions Problem-solve repairs with creativity Driving to work sites throughout the northern neighborhoods of Chicago (e.g. River North, Wicker Park/Bucktown, Lincoln Park, Logan Square, etc). Requirements

Experience working with your hands - This could be in construction, manufacturing, painting, or even a personal hobby
An ability to identify, compare, and recreate colors - Understanding color and how to match color is a large part of what we do
Good driving record

Responsibilities

Display world-class customer service for tenants and property management staff
