About The Position

Cleans, decontaminates, inspects, assembles, packages, sterilizes, stores, and
distributes supplies, instruments, and equipment dispensed by the department
following infection control guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Successfully passed a nationally accredited central service exam for central service technicians and maintains a certified registered central service technical credential administered by the International Association of healthcare Central Service Material Management or the Certification Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution
• 10 Hours of continuing education annually
• Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral, and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
• Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
• Computer literacy.
