About The Position

As a Technician-Electronic-Level II (first shift) at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting our electronic systems and components. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electronic equipment to ensure optimal performance. Your expertise will contribute to the reliability and efficiency of our operations, helping us deliver high-quality products and services to our customers In this role, you will impact the overall performance and reliability of our electronic systems. Your technical skills and attention to detail will ensure that our equipment operates efficiently, minimizing downtime and enhancing productivity. By maintaining and repairing electronic components, you will support our commitment to delivering exceptional products and services to our clients.

Requirements

  • 3+; years of experience in electronic systems support
  • Strong technical knowledge of electronic components and systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment effectively
  • Experience with test equipment and calibration
  • Basic understanding and maintenance of test equipment
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Nice To Haves

  • Soldering experience (introductory or advanced)
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Knowledge of Level 2 diagnostics (assembly-level troubleshooting)
  • Previous work experience in avionics or a related technical field
  • Familiarity with calibration processes
  • Ability to identify components and interpret circuit diagrams
  • Introductory knowledge of AC/DC theory and circuit analysis

Responsibilities

  • Perform electronic assembly, testing, and troubleshooting tasks
  • Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Ensure the quality and functionality of electronic products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records
  • Apply theory of operation to diagnose and repair systems
  • Disassemble and reassemble units for maintenance and repair
  • Clean and maintain units according to specifications
  • Apply correct torque values during assembly
  • Identify common failure modes and implement corrective actions
