About The Position

Responsibilities: -Independently pursues an assigned series of processes, procedures, or area of research in accordance with general approved plans and procedures -Plans and executes procedures and work details -Evaluates and analyzes results -Constructs, modifies, adapts, assembles, and operates scientific and laboratory apparatus and equipment -Uses computer equipment for controlling equipment and compiling data -Makes and records observations and measurements -Summarizes and evaluates data for scientific materials requiring academic knowledge -Researches and catalogs reference materials requiring understanding of subject matter theory -Plans and supervises technical operations Required Education and Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience . -Three years of related experience. Preferred Education: -BS in agriculture, biology, or other science-based major Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: -Knowledge of laboratory equipment, scientific apparatus, and computer equipment. -Ensure attention to detail. -Able to multitask and work cooperatively with others. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: -Knowledge of agronomic crop management and testing procedures. -Ability to operate basic laboratory equipment, such as balances.
