The Technician II is responsible for the purification of oligonucleotides in accordance with all standard work instructions and customer specific documentation. A Technician II will operate instruments, perform decontamination tasks, and support lab initiatives. Technicians will be asked to take part in daily management, aiding in lab optimization using data driven problem solving. This position reports to the Brendon Cable and is part of the Commercial & Regulated Products – HPLC Team located in Coralville, IA and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Operate HPLC Instrumentation, including set up, evaluating chromatograms and selecting fractions for processing Interpret various data points to determine proper routing of customer product Participate in continuous improvement projects that impact daily management metrics

Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Some lab experience.
  • Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree
  • 12 months of lab experience; Life Science work experience.
  • Extensive computer skills including knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
