About The Position

Technician III, S/M is an entry level position ideal for new graduates from Technical or A&P school. Also ideal for mechanics with less than five years of heavy aircraft experience. What you will be responsible for: • Able to perform basic maintenance tasks under supervision. • Able to use FAA approved data (i.e. IPC, M/M, OHM, SRM) proficiently. • Ensure work performed adheres to high quality standards. • All other duties as assigned. What you need to be successful in this role: • This position requires compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Candidates must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or individual admitted as a refugee or granted asylum). • High school diploma or general education degree GED required. • Must have a minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training. • May or may not have an A and/or P license or Repairman’s Certificate. • Fluent in English (speech, reading, writing). • Some sheet metal experience (including relative experience outside of Aviation) • Must possess and be able to skillfully use the minimum tools required. • Six (6) months Helper experience with successful completion of 40 hour Sheetmetal class. • Candidates without experience in Aviation Sheetmetal must successfully complete 120 hours of General Aviation Training (OJT). • Must possess the ability to learn.
