About The Position

Repairs and installs District pavement to meet or exceed current industry / trade standards. with a concern for safety, cost controls and the most efficient work practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two to ten years experience and training; minimum as follows: L2: Four (4) years experience

  • Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
  • Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and install concrete and asphalt surfaces and structures using current trade / industry practices.
  • Repair and install the playing surfaces of tennis courts and running tracks.
  • Removes, replaces, and repairs concrete foundations.
  • Prepares and cleans up job site, taking into consideration safety concerns of self and others, and disposes of waste and flammable materials.
  • Patches steps using material and reinforcements that extend life of work, according to correct process and with consideration to safety standards.
  • Reviews work orders, prioritizes, and determine supplies for repair and purchases supplies using District purchase order system.
  • Performs work and cross trains in at least one other trade as an apprentice.
  • Assists with snow removal efforts on a 24 hour on-call basis.
  • Responds to emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
