About The Position

Repairs and installs District pavement to meet or exceed current industry / trade standards. with a concern for safety, cost controls and the most efficient work practices.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Two to ten years experience and training; minimum as follows: L2: Four (4) years experience

Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.

Responsibilities

Repair and install concrete and asphalt surfaces and structures using current trade / industry practices.
Repair and install the playing surfaces of tennis courts and running tracks.
Removes, replaces, and repairs concrete foundations.
Prepares and cleans up job site, taking into consideration safety concerns of self and others, and disposes of waste and flammable materials.
Patches steps using material and reinforcements that extend life of work, according to correct process and with consideration to safety standards.
Reviews work orders, prioritizes, and determine supplies for repair and purchases supplies using District purchase order system.
Performs work and cross trains in at least one other trade as an apprentice.
Assists with snow removal efforts on a 24 hour on-call basis.
Responds to emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
