About The Position

Position Summary... What you'll do... The Technician – Wall Crew is responsible for supporting all event setup, teardown, and facility adjustments within Sam Walton Hall, which includes an auditorium, meeting rooms, assembly halls, and outdoor event areas. This role is highly hands-on and physical, involving furniture movement, event staging, workspace adjustments, and general repairs. The ideal candidate is reliable, proactive, safety-focused, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Location: This position will be fully onsite in Bentonville, AR You will make an impact by… Executing daily event setup and teardown for meetings, assemblies, conferences, and special events (10–30 events per day). Setting up and arranging tables, chairs, staging, and other furniture for gatherings ranging from small meetings to events with up to 3,000 attendees. Supporting outdoor event installations including signage, flags, cones, and traffic/visitor flow equipment. Performing hands-on furniture repairs and routine maintenance as assigned. Relocating, assembling, or dismantling modular office furniture, fixtures, shelving, and other wall system components. Assisting with remodeling and workspace layout changes, including evaluating designs, laying out modular office walls, and preparing fixtures and supplies. Collaborating with electricians, cabling technicians, and HVACR technicians to support renovation or office configuration projects. Following all company and regulatory safety procedures, including OSHA and MSDS guidelines. Ensuring safety of personnel, equipment, and property by adhering to established safety practices and providing basic safety instruction when necessary.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50lbs consistently and safely
  • Must be flexible to work Saturdays as needed
  • A commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
  • A commercial driving record with not more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
  • Able to read and speak the English language as required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
  • Able to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification of at least one year.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
  • No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.

  • You can stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout an entire shift.
