The incumbent will conduct needs assessments, feasibility studies, and requirements gathering, as well as prepare cost-benefit analyses in support of informed decision-making. The position serves as a key liaison between business units and Enterprise Information & Technology, ensuring alignment and clarity from initial requirements through successful implementation. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management information systems, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or related professional work experience.
  • 7+ years of related work experience.
  • 4+ years of recent project-related work experience in project management, business analysis, process design or technology development.
  • Project leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to productively manage business relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use and practice project management methodology.
  • Thorough knowledge of technical concepts, including software development and design and business process modeling, and ability to understand mathematical formulas and complex algorithms.
  • Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated planning and facilitation skills and ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work with minimal direction.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, concisely, logically, tactfully, and effectively, both verbally and in writing, including presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership, team-building, and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the identification, design and delivery of technology solutions that improve business performance, drive financial delivery, create operational efficiency and stabilize business performance.
  • Lead and manage technology innovation projects, collaborating with business and technology teams to assess needs, resolve issues, and deliver solutions.
  • Analyze business operations to identify improvement opportunities across people, process, and technology, and design balanced, optimized solutions.
  • Consult with stakeholders to evaluate impacts, prioritize initiatives, and develop requirements for process and technology changes.
  • Oversee the effective and efficient use of technology to support business process modeling, the development and maintenance of business rules, and documentation as defined by business process, system, and product owners.
  • Maintain awareness of ongoing development and maintenance activities.
  • Work with staff to coordinate the quality assurance phases of test planning, testing, defect resolution, and test tracking.
  • Help ensure technology solutions meet or exceed specified requirements.
  • Provide project supervision, coaching, and guidance to business analysis and testing staff environment in support of projects and assigned activities.
  • Work with training staff to coordinate business system training and maintain business system documentation.
  • Help ensure system training occurs in coordination with related process or people training.
  • Maintain and update process monitoring documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business and technology standards.
