As an intern on the Citco team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon. CITCO Technology Management Interns are responsible for the development, support and maintenance of software components and/or modules in multiple tier internal applications, as well as vendor purchased software solution/packages; written in various languages. Under the direction and mentorship of a developer or senior developer, you will:

Requirements

Education Currently enrolled in a technical or Computer Scienced focused Bachelors’ Degree Program as a Freshman, Sophomore or Junior
Taken 1 or more courses in software development; any certifications a plus
No prior professional experience required
Demonstrated skill in one or two programming languages, preferably Python
Basic understanding of object-oriented programming, relational databases, software version control and software development lifecycles - Waterfall, Agile
Knowledge of operating systems - Microsoft XP, Linux, basic networking and security
Complete assigned work on time, on scope and with low defect rates
Excellent listening and analytic skills
Enthusiasm to learn
Undertake two-day in-person attendance in JRC, and one-day in-person attendance in NYC.

Responsibilities

Develop enhancements to new and existing applications
Support the current application stack
Participate in the design of new applications
