About The Position

The Technology PMO Manager leads a team responsible for defining delivery practices, implementing scalable progress tracking, and driving continuous improvement across a very large enterprise portfolio that includes hundreds of systems and projects. This role places heavy emphasis on portfolio financial controls and enterprise resource management in addition to delivery governance — ensuring cost to complete visibility, optimized staffing/contractor allocation, and disciplined execution to protect schedule, budget and business value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related technical field is required. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
  • In addition to any experience required above, 8 or more years of technology experience; 4-6 years of direct supervision experience preferred.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insights for decision making.
  • Background in IT applications, infrastructure, security, or digital transformation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring alignment of projects with strategic goals, budget, and timelines.
  • Establish and enforce project management standards, methodologies, and best practices across IT.
  • Drive accurate forecasting and financial discipline across IT.
  • Articulate the impacts of project variances to the capital and O&M budgets.
  • Monitor and report on portfolio performance, providing transparency to senior leadership on portfolio health such that they can report on risks, dependencies and value delivery.
  • Coordinate resource planning, capacity management, and prioritization of initiatives across cross-functional IT teams.
  • Implement governance processes for intake, approval, and execution of projects, balancing agility with control.
  • Provide coaching and leadership to delivery teams, building organizational capabilities.
