Reporting to the head of HR Data Product Management in the HR Data Office, the Technology Product Management Group Manager position will navigate global and cross functional needs, including collaborating with Enterprise Data Office (EDO) and drive towards and ideal state of a mature data governance program. Leading technical solutions activities that contribute to the definition of the Enterprise Data Governance Strategy, and/or Data Risk and Control Framework and Data Risk Taxonomy, and plays a critical role in leading activities to support implementation of the Data Governance Policy/Data Risk and Control framework. Position will leads and directs a team of professionals. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of Data Governance, Data Modelling, Product Ownership, Agile Methodology, and Technical Project Management, and how it interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. The Technical Product Group Manager will be accountable for delivery of a full range of Technical Solution Services to one or more businesses/geographic regions, in order to put HR Data under Governance. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Accountable for the end results of an area. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning. Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.
