Requirements

  • Two (2) to four (4) years of relevant experience.
  • Four (4) years of job‑related experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

  • Configure, install, monitor, and maintain desktop hardware and software for IT users, including support for mobile workforce.
  • Provide consultation to users on all aspects of end‑user computing and desktop‑based LAN system software.
  • Deliver Tier 2 technical support and collaborate with vendors to resolve Tier 3 issues.
  • Document problem resolutions and develop clear end‑user guidelines.
  • Provide on‑site user training when required.
  • Evaluate, maintain, modify (e.g., create macros, templates), and document desktop application packages; participate in testing, evaluating, and implementing new desktop software prototypes.
  • Advise IT users on hardware and software selections that meet business requirements.
  • Support a broad range of responsibilities including hardware/software planning, vendor selection, acquisition, Tier 2 issue resolution, setup, integration, testing, and installation.
  • Organize and coordinate activities related to the installation, deployment, and upgrade of desktop software, hardware, and network components.
  • Support desktop applications such as productivity tools, email platforms, and other non‑customized group applications.
  • Evaluate and recommend techniques to improve user desktop productivity.
  • Develop and implement technical service restoration processes and troubleshooting procedures to identify, test, and diagnose issues with computer systems and peripheral equipment.
