What You’ll Be Doing As the IT Systems Program Manager - Tech@Lilly - MQ IAPI, you will be responsible for leading production support of technology, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This includes taking charge of deviation investigations to identify and resolve issues, as well as leading proposed modifications and enhancements to improve the technology. You will also lead major technology project deployments across the site, ensuring projects stay on schedule, mitigations are proactively managed, and stakeholder communication is on point. You will often be in front of site leadership (Flow, Lead Team, Deviation/Change Review Board, etc.) to present and obtain buy in for proposals. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ yrs in GMP Manufacturing
  • 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT systems (e.g., Veeva, SAP, Tulip, or similar platforms)
  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization or visas for this role, including but not limited to F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, J-1, H-1B, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, or L-1

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with MQ technologies, especially SAP, OneQMS, Tulip, Station Manager, and TrackWise
  • Experience managing technology deployments, particularly in the pharma industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks, manage trade-offs, and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to operate under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Program Management: Lead and manage large-scale programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Project Management: Drive the technical agenda, liaise between global/local tech teams and the site, and be a member of cross-functional teams that run the plant.
  • Drive to Paperless Manufacturing: Acceleration and completion of Tulip deployment.
  • Create and Manage Strong Relationships: Collaborate with stakeholders across manufacturing to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the delivery and sustainability of IT solutions and digital manufacturing capabilities to make medicine, with safety first and quality always.
  • Ruthless Prioritization: Drive the site adoption of assigned solutions, ensuring alignment with Site and IT strategy, and leveraging awareness of internal and external trends in partnership with the Business SMEs.
