Your Impact: The Telecommunications Equipment Installer – Level II will be responsible for the installation, removal, and maintenance of Data Center, Telecom, AC and DC Power, and Fiber equipment. This position operates as a part of an assigned Travel Team, working at customer locations across the country.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of installation experience or equivalent training and experience.
  • Physical ability to place, remove, or modify equipment and install cabling.
  • Proficient in taking direction from a team lead and applying common sense to instructions.
  • Computer skills, including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), are a plus.
  • Knowledge of necessary tools for assignments and installations.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment background checks.
  • Compliance with OSHA standards and safety requirements.
  • Ability to work in various physical environments, including raised floors, small crawl spaces, and tight areas.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and across the US with employer-paid expenses.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of AC and DC Power, Central Office, or Data Center installation practices is a plus.
  • Computer skills, including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in installation teams at customer locations nationwide.
  • Perform installation tasks per Telco Standard TP76300 and/or BICSII with high competency and accuracy.
  • Install equipment including power systems, fiber cabling, and supervisory/alarm systems.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all on-site storage, staging, and work areas.
  • Understand and adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and administrative requirements.
  • Interpret and apply job/equipment specifications and installation documents as directed by the Installation Team Lead.
