The Global Commercial Operations team drives business success through consistent delivery practices. Your role: As an eCommerce Site Merchandising Manager you will be a key part of our global business, positioned within our Global Commercial Operations department. eCommerce Site Merchandising is responsible for daily operations of artists’ webstores, delivering product campaigns and site promotions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in managing Ecommerce experience on a common platform (Salesforce, Shopify, Magento)
  • Basic understanding of the components of eCommerce technology and experience partnering with technical or product teams
  • Proficient in Excel, large data sets with strong analytical skills
  • Experience producing and managing a customer facing retail website and partnering with multiple team members to produce high quality customer experiences
  • Background in eCommerce Site Merchandising or eCommerce retail operations – general knowledge of eCommerce success metrics
  • Experience using web analytics to understand effectiveness of an eCommerce experience
  • Exercise extreme attention to detail and organizational skills (critical)
  • A strong communicator with ability to convey information efficiently across multiple teams and influence using data/insights
  • Demonstrate your qualities as a self-starter with problem solving skills and ability to delivery solutions quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Ecommerce Store Setup and Maintenance Manage the configuration and setup of our ecommerce experience to ensure accuracy of product listings, pricing, promotions, and product availability.
  • Update and maintain store content such as the product catalog (price, descriptions, imagery, and other attributes), store banners, site navigation and FAQs.
  • Manage site content, promotions and on site campaigns to improve customer experience, drive sales and increase conversion, Perform thorough testing / QA for store and production launches, including links, banners, and promotions are functioning as expected.
  • Monitor and maintain high quality customer experience after store launches and optimize assortment and presentation across a campaign lifecycle.
  • Work with the technical team to implement changes and enhancements and to identify areas for improvement, ensuring optimal functionality, user experience, and site performance.
  • Product Presentation Partner with the brand management team to: Curate the homepage and organize product categories and collections for an optimized navigation Ensure that the product descriptions provide accurate and comprehensive information that addresses customer questions and concerns. They should also be crafted with SEO best practices in mind.
  • Execute visual merchandising strategies to showcase new releases, featured products and promotions effectively.
  • Optimize product sorting and filtering options to enhance customer browsing and search experiences.
  • Leverage data and insights to optimize presentation to drive sales and partner with brand managers and label to drive ongoing improvements and measure sales impacts.
  • Campaign Execution Collaborate with the Brand Management and Physical Music teams to understand the goals, objectives, and messaging for new releases, campaigns, and promotions and product releases.
  • Recommend and consult on site merchandising tactics based on data, analytics and shopper insights.
  • Define site merchandising plans and run projects to launch key artists store campaigns.
  • Develop reporting and insights related to campaign execution and recommend updates to site merchandising to drive sales across an album or merch campaign.
  • Develop and execute timed launch of the campaign according to the predetermined plan and schedule, ensuring all elements are delivered with quality and consistency.
  • Inventory Management Work with the merchandising / store management and warehouse inventory management teams to: Ensure accurate product availability and stock levels on the ecommerce platforms Manage consumer experience to highlight in-stock inventory and partner with Brand Managers and Label teams to replenish assortments as appropriate.
  • Assist in setting inventory thresholds and safety stock levels based on sales goals, data and insights from past campaigns.
  • Synchronize inventory updates with pre-order releases, monitor order processing to maintain inventory levels and reduce risk of overselling or producing stale inventory.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ID underperforming product and suggest options to Brand Managers and Labels to reduce excess inventory / storage costs.
  • Leverage data and analytics to measure site and product performance and drive continuous improvement in sales and customer experience Continuously monitor and track weekly sales on new album releases to ensure chart numbers are accurate while identifying any sales discrepancies.
  • Use our reporting tools to deliver detailed sales reports to store managers such as artist revenue, promotional performance, or individual product sales.
  • Produce store and campaign insights and present store performance to Store Managers, Brand Managers and Artists Management Teams.
  • Leverage Data to produce recommendations to improve site experience and performance.
  • Manage and monitor product sell through rates, conversion rates and out of stocks to help optimize inventory and purchase decisions for current and upcoming campaigns.
  • Partner with Customer Service to produce a consistent and high quality customer experience and respond quickly to any customer issues that arise Be the liaison between brand managers, Label Marketing, Customer Service, and fulfilment teams to track product delivery on new releases to ensure products are on schedule to fulfil in a timely fashion.
  • Collaborate with customer service to communicate with customers on any expected delays or production defects to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Respond urgently to customer facing issues to resolve and ensure timely and consistent communication to customers and internal collaborators.
  • Partner with Customer Service team to identify frequent issues driving customer engagement and develop site merchandising/messaging strategies to lower total cost to support.
