JOB SUMMARY Works under immediate supervision to perform clerical or para-professional work.
Requirements
- Enrolled in high school and must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
- If working in a Research Lab, additional documentation signed by parents or legal guardian
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tasks such as testing, media preparation, data collection and analysis. Design and validate experimental procedures. Gaining exposure to molecular biology techniques, including PCR, DNA and RNA isolation and protein assay.
- Performs a variety of duties to include, but not limited to, basic administrative and service related functions.
- Assists, receives training, and acquires working knowledge from various departments.
- May assist staff with day to day operations.
- May participate in basic to moderately complex projects as requested by supervisor.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
