About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a Territory Sales Engineer professional with Emerson’s Branson Ultrasonics business based in the Tennessee area! Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Territory Sales Engineer is a key member of Branson’s Sales organization. This will be be a remote, home-office based position and may be located anywhere within Tennesee or surrounding area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ Proven years of experience in technical sales or sales engineering, preferably in [industry, e.g., manufacturing, software, electronics]
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex products and solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.

  • Experience with consultative selling and solution-based sales approaches.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow sales within an assigned territory by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and partners.
  • Serve as the technical expert during sales presentations, product demonstrations, and customer meetings.
  • Understand customer requirements and tailor solutions to meet their business needs.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and customer support teams to address technical questions and deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and presentations.
  • Track and report sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer visits to promote company products.
  • Stay current with industry developments, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and objectives.
