Our Territory Sales Manager position is the missing link for any sales company, but you can only find it at Heartland! We know that running a restaurant or retail store is tough, and that it takes a special kind of person to thrive in this business. That's why we're looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join our team and help us bring our innovative solutions to merchants throughout the area.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth and bring in net new business with your own sales from prospects.
  • Recruit, grow, and lead a smaller team of sales professionals.
  • Work closely with your local Division Manager to set appointments with business owners for Payroll/ HCM.
  • Run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Heartland solutions to close sales.
  • Train and coach sales reps under you to achieve their sales goals.
  • Network locally to find sales reps.
  • Use Atlas CRM to show clients the benefits of Heartland's solutions.
  • Support sales reps in the field on all aspects of the sales playbook.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license necessary for regular driving to visit client sites.
  • Ability to be in the field a minimum of 75% of the time.
  • Completion of mandatory drug screening on or near 60th day of employment.
  • Live in area relative to job posting location.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in closing sales.
  • Proven track record of pipeline development.
  • Part of a business or merchant association or networking group.
  • Bilingual skills.
