About The Position

ISHPI is seeking a Test Engineer III (on-site) to support the Command and Control (C2) Afloat Integration Support (C2AIS) for the U.S. Coast Guard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC) in Portsmouth, VA. This role will manage the supported systems of the C5ISC and provides services to include system engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering, network engineering, test engineering, electronic engineering, and technical writing.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate Degree in Engineering or Engineering Science and nine (9) years of work experience in test design, development engineering or related field.
• Requires U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provides support in the Systems Engineering field as it relates to the acquisition program test phases.
• Develops test documentation (strategy, plans, procedures and reports) necessary for the acquisition program.
• Conducts systems tests in support of user requirements for complex to highly complex software/hardware applications.
• Directs and/or participates in all phases of testing related risk management assessments and software/hardware development.
• Performs analysis of user requirements, develops test plans, performs test tool selection, conducts tests and documents test results.
