About The Position

Seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join our SITE III Directorate Operations (DO) team supporting the U.S. Intelligence Community. This role supports web applications focused on CI/HUMINT for the worldwide IC. Key Responsibilities: • Standard Setting: Establish and uphold integration and testing standards. • Test Strategy: Develop and implement test strategies to ensure system reliability. • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with various organizations for integration and testing activities. • System Readiness: Prepare and assess readiness for system activities. • Process Implementation: Ensure compliance with testing processes and track metrics. • Discrepancy Management: Evaluate reports and validate fixes affecting systems. • Test Procedures: Prepare system test procedures and user acceptance procedures following defined standards. • Agile: Operate in a fast-paced, Agile development environment as part of the scrum team.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI polygraph OR SCI eligibility and able to obtain a polygraph may be considered for the right candidate. US Citizenship required.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in an area applicable to the position with 8+ years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree in an area applicable to the position with 6 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement
  • Experienced tester, front end, back end, middle tier. Development environments include Java, Wildfly, Openshift, Docker, Jenkins, Git, Redmine, Artifactory, Postgres, some Cloud technologies (such as S3 and ElastiCache), and Oracle.
  • Knowledge of Agile processes is required.
  • The candidate must have recent experience in some of these key areas and be willing/able to be in lead tester positions for Agile scrum teams.

  • Extensive knowledge and experience with software testing Experience using Gitlab
  • Experience with Agile
  • Experience interacting with the end users and functional customer in support of sprint reviews, sprint demos and In-Plant Acceptance testing is preferred but not required
