About The Position

We are looking for a talented Test Engineer (On-site, 3rd Shift) to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins location Seymour, IN. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Test Equipment Development: Design, maintain, and upgrade test equipment and architectures to support application products. Root Cause Analysis: Analyze test results and provide recommendations that guide resolution of failure events. Functional Testing Expertise: Apply knowledge of end‑product specific functional tests during assembly to ensure accuracy and reliability. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Leverage expertise across product engineering, quality, manufacturing engineering, and facilities to drive integrated solutions. Safety Compliance: Ensure all test procedures meet required safety standards, protecting both people and equipment. Manufacturing Standards Compliance: Align test procedures with manufacturing standards to maintain consistency and quality. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to refine testing processes and architectures for greater efficiency and effectiveness. Customer Value: Deliver reliable test outcomes that improve product performance and ultimately enhance customer satisfaction.
