We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. We are seeking a skilled Test & Launch Ops Technician who will leverage technical expertise and operational excellence to ensure the readiness and integration of ground systems, vehicles, and engines for test and launch operations. This role involves the verification and validation of component and system integration, preparation of test and launch environments, and hands-on troubleshooting pre and post-mission. The Test & Launch Technician will collaborate across disciplines to uphold the highest standards of safety, reliability, and mission success for Blue Origin’s spaceflight operations. Team Focus & Domain Expertise The Test Stand & Facility Maintenance Team is central to Blue Origin’s ability to run world-class test operations across New Glenn, Blue Moon, BE-4, New Shepard, and advanced development programs. Our technicians are trusted to ensure the continuous reliability, safety, and readiness of test stands, ground support equipment, labs, and facility systems - directly impacting the success and schedule of critical propulsion and flight hardware testing. Team members own the modification, improvement, and repair of high-thrust test systems and complex fluid, cryogenic, and mechanical subsystems. Whether performing corrective or preventive maintenance, fabricating and integrating high-pressure and cryogenic tubing, or troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic systems, each technician is proactive in maximizing system uptime and supporting rapid test operations. Using advanced maintenance planning and tracking tools, the team manages work orders, spares, and preventive schedules to maintain continuous test readiness. We collaborate closely with engineers and operations staff to refine processes, provide actionable feedback on ground support equipment and test article designs, and drive ongoing facility improvements. The team has deep expertise in process instrumentation, calibration, and validation, applying best practices in safety, 5S, and FOD control throughout every aspect of our work. Collectively, our dedication and agility enable Blue Origin to push the envelope of aerospace innovation and support safe, repeatable spaceflight.
