Wilkes University invites applicants for an open Theatre high school teaching enrichment position in the Upward Bound Program for the summer session. Upward Bound is a federally funded Trio Program, which provides support to participants in their preparation for college and ultimately, in their higher education pursuits. The successful candidate is responsible for implementing the enrichment component of the Program by introducing theatre history while working to put on a live production with a small group of high school-level students to be presented to students, parents, and other Upward Bound staff. A Bachelor's degree in Theatre, and/or a related field, is required. Please note that this is only a part-time, temporary position with a competitive hourly wage.
