About The Position

Citizens is looking for a Third Party Payment Specialist to join the Team and provide customer service to policy owners and independent consultants across multiple lines of insurance (life, health, accident, and annuity) and multiple companies operating within the Citizens, Inc. group of companies.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma, GED, or associate degree.
  • Proficient in the Spanish, native speakers preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • At least one year of clerical experience.
  • Bilingual (English /Spanish)

Nice To Haves

  • Customer Service experience.
  • Insurance Industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Communication and Assistance: Provide clerical assistance and communicate with Independent Consultants (IC) via telephone, mail, fax, and e-mail.
  • Processing and Documentation: Process various requests from policy owners, associates, and other departments. Research and respond to IC questions and problems related to Third-party payments. Ensure accurate documentation of casework.
  • Case Management: Audit assigned cases.
  • Department Collaboration: Cross-train with other areas of the department.
  • Task Management: Prioritize work and manage multiple tasks and assignments.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related duties/projects as required and assigned.
