About the position

We are seeking a Tier 2 Support and Operations Specialist for Web- and Java-based systems in both production and testing environments. The role includes implementing versions and changes, identifying and resolving complex issues, working with advanced monitoring tools, and collaborating with internal and external teams to troubleshoot and deliver high-level support. You will also be involved in the integration and deployment of new projects, and in providing high-level support to Tier 1 support teams and development teams.

Responsibilities

  • Implement versions and changes for Web- and Java-based systems.
  • Identify and resolve complex issues in production and testing environments.
  • Work with advanced monitoring tools to ensure system performance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams for troubleshooting.
  • Deliver high-level support to Tier 1 support teams and development teams.
  • Integrate and deploy new projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing Web-based applications.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing Web infrastructures, including IIS and Tomcat.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft infrastructure based on Windows Servers.
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with user-side troubleshooting tools (e.g., Network Monitor, Wireshark, Process Monitor).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with system monitoring tools (e.g., SCOM, AppDynamics, Elasticsearch & Kibana).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with SSL-based encrypted communication and troubleshooting Web applications using SSL certificates.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in scripting (Batch, PowerShell) - at least one required.
  • Experience with databases (e.g., MSSQL).
  • Post-secondary education and relevant technical certifications.

  • Relevant academic degree.
