About The Position
One of our valued manufacturing clients in the Northbrook, IL area is seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join their growing production team.
Requirements
- Previous TIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Knowledge of welding safety standards and best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- HS/ GED or Certification
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals based on job specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect welds to ensure quality standards and structural integrity
- Maintain clean and organized work area following safety protocols
- Assist with fabrication, grinding, finishing, and assembly as needed
