About The Position

PK Companies is seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Timekeeper / Assistant Administrator to support daily labor time entry, verification, and general administrative functions for field personnel in the Corpus Christi area. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate payroll processing and job cost reporting across multiple active projects.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in timekeeping, payroll, or administrative support preferred
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Basic computer proficiency: experience with timekeeping or payroll systems is a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with field personnel and management

Responsibilities

  • Collect, review, and accurately enter daily timesheets for field crews
  • Verify work hours, job codes, cost codes, and pay classifications
  • Work closely with field supervisors and project management to resolve timekeeping discrepancies
  • Ensure all time is submitted on schedule for payroll processing
  • Maintain organized and compliant timekeeping records
  • Assist with labor reporting and job cost tracking as needed
  • Support adherence to company policies and payroll requirements
  • Provide general administrative support to the project team as assigned
