Waste Connections is looking for a reliable Tire Technician to join our team in Bridgeton, Missouri. Requirements

Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Dependable, safety‑minded, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Nice To Haves

Prior tire or mechanical experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Perform routine tire inspections on fleet vehicles to identify wear, damage, and safety concerns
Mount and dismount tires on company vehicles and equipment
Maintain accurate records of tire inspections, repairs, and inventory
Ensure tires meet company safety standards and DOT requirements
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company policies and OSHA standards
Communicate effectively with shop personnel and management regarding tire conditions and needs
Assist the maintenance team with additional duties as assigned
