Performs a variety of clerical, administrative or operational support duties in the department. Performs data entry; verifies the accuracy of data, processes workflows, writing exceptions to meet standards and deadlines. Processes and performs quality audits of new paperwork for loans. Filing title documents and other materials, retrieving and releasing documents and records. Audits titles and UCC documentation, performs research, responds to questions, releasing titles and liens. Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities Documents and processes departmental work, including but not limited to; verifying for accuracy and completeness, performing research, filing title documents and other materials, retrieving and releasing documents and records. Maintains records of work performed. Performs specialized data entry to prepare a variety of standard materials, documents and reports; updates computer records and databases; completes and processes standard forms related to areas of responsibility. Provides information and guidance to employees regarding titles, and UCC’s paperwork requirements; Submits documents for lien recording to the appropriate Department of Motor Vehicles and/or Secretary of State’s office; Audits title and UCC paperwork for accuracy and completeness; sends exceptions for correction through relevant system workflow. Utilizes system workflows to process title work including, but not limited to; the Paid List, Dealer List and title requests. Performs research, releases titles and liens and mails title and/or UCC to appropriate party. Operates computers, copiers, optical imaging, mail and other related standard office and processing equipment. Works in a variety of systems, including but not limited to: Core, Unity, Meridianlink, ALTS and Premier eTtile lien. Responds to incoming calls, faxes, emails and mail pertaining to titles and UCCs. Collects information from various State Motor Vehicle Offices to determine the requirements for securing a lien on collateral. Follows up with relevant parties to ensure lien is recorded in a timely manner, including but not limited to; members, dealerships, State Motor Vehicle Offices, Secretary of State and Coast Guard. Works with members and insurance companies to complete Letter of Guaranty requests regarding vehicles that are considered a ‘total loss’.
