About The Position

Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and specifications
Build and assemble dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, and cutting tools
Operate machines such as:
CNC machines
Lathes
Milling machines
Grinders
Repair and maintain worn or damaged tooling
Measure parts using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
Test tools to make sure they produce parts correctly
Work with engineers to improve designs

Requirements

• Strong math and mechanical skills
• Blueprint reading
• Precision measurement
• Problem solving
• Attention to detail
• CNC / machining knowledge
• Metalworking experience
