About The Position

The Tool and Equipment Associate ensures daily tool readiness by maintaining stocked tool cribs with tested equipment. This role supports inventory, facilitates maintenance, and ensures tools are available and in good working condition for all job sites.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in tool management or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Familiarity with tool maintenance and repair processes.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Tool Management: Clean and test all tools returning to shop
  • Verify if all tool accessories are present and in working order when checked in
  • Charge all batteries, notate old batteries for recycling
  • Confirm tools in need of calibration are up to date. If not, send in for calibration per the calibration programs.
  • Document arc flash suits and tools have been tested and certified if on the shelf
  • Document and tag defective tools
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate tool inventory in Remarcable, track usage, and help manage stock levels to prevent shortages.
  • Assist with location cycle counts to confirm inventory levels.
  • Review tool inventory levels at job closeout, bring any discrepancies to Department Lead and or Manager.
  • Restock primary locations from overstock on a weekly basis.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety standards and company policies related to tool usage and maintenance.
  • Inspect fall arrest safety equipment and maintain required documentation.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned
