Job Description Essential Job Functions Maintain accurate inventory of all Repair & Maintenance tools, equipment, and consumables; reconcile physical counts to system quantities. Perform routine cycle counts and annual physical inventories; investigate and resolve variances. Enter purchase requisitions and manage purchase orders through the ERP/CMMS system. Receive, inspect, label, and stock replacement parts and supplies; ensure proper storage locations and bin identification. Issue tools and parts to maintenance and production personnel; track usage and returns. Locate and stage parts upon request to support urgent maintenance needs and minimize production downtime. Maintain the tool crib in a clean, organized, and standardized condition utilizing 5S and lean principles. Monitor min/max inventory levels and proactively reorder critical spares. Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding parts availability, lead times, and substitutions. Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs by ensuring required parts and tooling are available. Maintain documentation related to inventory transactions, tool calibration records (if applicable), and safety data sheets (SDS). Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper handling of tools, chemicals, and materials. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, cost reduction, and operational efficiency. Support audits (internal, customer, or ISO/IATF) related to inventory control and tool management. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; technical or supply chain coursework preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in tool crib, maintenance storeroom, inventory control, or manufacturing support environment preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required; familiarity with ERP/CMMS systems strongly preferred. Experience with Microsoft Project and AutoCAD preferred. Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of maintenance tools and parts. Ability to read part numbers, drawings, and basic technical documentation. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements Walking, standing, and/or sitting for a minimum of 8 hours per day. Occasionally lifting to 50 lbs. Requirements
