About The Position

The primary function of the Tool & Die technician is to analyze specifications, lay out metal stock, set up and operate machine tools, and fit and assemble parts to make and repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and machinists’ hand tools.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm

Requirements

• High School diploma
• 2–5 years of Tool & Die experience preferred
• CNC machine Knowledge is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Performs general Tool & Die while supporting the production areas.
• Fabricates and maintains assembly equipment with jigs and fixtures.
• Performs preventative maintenance of tools & equipment.
• Operates CNC machine tools including lathes, milling machines or grinders.
• Plans sequences of operations by studying blueprints and specifications.
• Follows all safety procedures, rules and guidelines; and notify managers of any potential safety issues.
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
