About The Position

You will be the Tool Engineering Associate Manager for the Tool Engineering team. Our team is responsible for designing, procuring, maintaining, and producing tooling across the site while driving enterprise‑wide process improvements. What You Will Be Doing As the Tool Engineering Associate Manager you will be responsible for leading a cross‑functional team that manages the full tool lifecycle—from design and ordering to preventive maintenance, additive‑manufacturing production, and machine‑shop operations. Requirements

  • BS Mechanical engineering, Aerospace engineering, or similar
  • 5+ years experience as a tool engineer
  • Experience developing/teaching tool design
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a cross‑functional team in the design, procurement, and maintenance of tooling.
  • Oversee the complete tool lifecycle, including additive‑manufacturing and machine‑shop production.
  • Drive continuous improvement of 1LMX tool processes enterprise‑wide.
  • Manage tooling budgets, schedules, and supplier relationships to ensure on‑time delivery.
  • Mentor engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and innovation.
