Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED equivalent
  • Experience in programming and operation of coordinate measuring machines
  • Familiarity with tooling
  • Windows based computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and as an effective team
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent problem-solving skills using established Quality methods
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift
  • Ability to work overtime as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree or Metrology certifications
  • 3 years of experience in programming and operation of coordinate measuring machines
  • Experience with Mastercam, CMM Manager, Polyworks and / or Solidworks
  • Multiple years of experience in full tool build programs
  • Familiarity with the ISO 9001 Standard
  • Extensive knowledge in various types of tooling
  • Certified Journeyman Tool Maker

Responsibilities

  • Complete tooling inspections and reports through various methods such as visual verification, 3D scanning, CMM operation, and other gauges
  • Must be able to read and interpret tooling prints and specifications
  • Provide CMM support and training for manufacturing employees
  • Perform Quality Room and CMM maintenance
  • Support the Calibration, Non-conformance, Quality Communications and Final Approval processes
