Requirements

  • Minimum tooling experience required 1-3 years.
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills are required.
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution preferred but not required
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
  • ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is desired or have a background working with machinery.
  • Prefer previous hands-on experience using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the rework of parts meeting print and specification requirements.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to read and interpret tooling prints, work instructions, policies and procedures
  • Working knowledge in manufacturing and quality processes and principles
  • Able to solve practical problems with a variety of variables
  • Able to calculate figures and amounts
  • Able to perform entry level machining
  • Able to maintain records and quality standards
  • Able to operate Tool room style machines
  • Able to use and read basic inspection tools: calipers micrometers, optical comparator
