About The Position

JOB SUMMARY You will serve on a team whose job is to help Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort engage with all its audiences to create a memorable golf experience at the Resort. You will contribute to the success of the Resort by serving and assisting guests at the Toptracer Range at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course. Your top priority will be to support our company's Noble Purpose, to "care about our guests, and the impact you make on their lives." This position is a guest relations / customer service role with golf and food & beverage responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Previous serving experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of touchscreen enabled technology is required
  • Basic golf knowledge a plus
  • Excellent communication, time management and organization skills
  • Positive interpersonal skills required
  • Must speak English fluently and be able to read/write in basic English
  • Must be at least 18 years of age; 21+ preferred
  • ServSafe Alcohol Training Certificate and License required, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Introduce yourself and create good rapport with all patrons.
  • Greet all members and guests in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
  • Display a positive, friendly, outgoing attitude that welcomes guest. When interacting with each guest, leave them with a "WOW" story to tell about their experience.
  • Share customer impact stories with your team in meetings and with management.
  • Ensure prompt opening and closing of the Toptracer facility.
  • Prepare and present a clean, organized driving range area. Responsibilities may include, but is not limited to, blowing the range deck, cleaning tables, removing trash.
  • Provide immediate attention to all guests upon arrival. Greet and welcome all patrons to facility.
  • Provide superior customer service to all members, guests, and staff.
  • Assist guest in use of Toptracer technology.
  • Have knowledge of the menu and the ability to serve with outstanding attention to detail
  • Take orders of guests: assist in drink and menu selection; inform guests about food preparation details and daily specials.
  • Interact with point of sale (POS) to place orders with kitchen: stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations; knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any item; communicating specific guest needs to cooks and bar staff.
  • Bay Host (21+) should maintain knowledge of simple cocktails and beer and be comfortable mixing simple alcoholic beverages.
  • Maintain proper dining experience by efficiently delivering items, fulfilling guest needs, offering drinks, removing soiled dishes, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.
  • Responsible for reservation management, over-the-net management, and guest services.
  • Responsible for range ball maintenance and distribution of clean, range balls to guests.
  • Obtain revenues; issue receipts; accept payments; return accurate change.
  • Handle all cash and credit card charges as prescribed by standard operating procedures.
  • Perform clean-up and closing duties as defined by management.
  • Accurately complete tip declaration form daily.
  • Advise supervisor of all complaints and/or resolutions as soon as they occur.
  • Serve as a source of information for the guests and to put them at ease. Promote other company amenities at every opportunity.
