About The Position

To support our peak season operations, we’re seeking outgoing, high-energy, and service-driven TOUR GUIDES who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Tour Guide, you are the face of Top of the Rock — greeting and guiding visitors, sharing engaging stories about the Observation Deck, Rockefeller Center, and New York City, and ensuring every guest leaves with lasting memories. This seasonal opportunity provides valuable experience within a premier NYC destination, with potential consideration for future opportunities based on performance and business needs. Requirements

  • Outgoing, enthusiastic, and service-driven personality
  • Strong communication skills in English; Portuguese required; additional languages a plus
  • Punctual, reliable, and comfortable leading groups
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Team player with a positive, professional attitude
  • Walking and standing for the majority of the shift
  • Flexibility to work indoor/outdoor tours and changing weather conditions
  • Ability to adapt to variable schedules and physical activity throughout the day

Nice To Haves

  • Passion for history, art, architecture, or NYC landmarks preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet, guide, and register visitors with warmth and professionalism
  • Lead groups of 10–25 guests safely and confidently
  • Share accurate, engaging stories about the Observation Deck, Rockefeller Center, and NYC
  • Field guest questions and provide thoughtful, enthusiastic answers
  • Continually learn and deepen your knowledge of the site and surrounding history
  • Operate wireless tour equipment and adapt to indoor/outdoor conditions
