Tour Guides lead visitors, individually or in groups, on tours that are less than a day in length. They ensure that itineraries are met and that customers are entertained while being informed about the location they are touring. They are also responsible for ensuring the group's safety, and that tour groups remain together. Tour guides are employed by tour companies, resorts, and attractions. Seasonal roles are not eligible for health benefits. Seasonal roles are eligible for sick time and holiday pay. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee occasionally requires the ability to lift office products and supplies up to 20 pounds. Travel is required 30-50% within the region. The hospitality environment is fast-paced, and at times, you may be required to cover or assist with tasks/job functions outside of the job you were hired for. We require each of our team members to have an All-Hands-On-Deck mindset. This means you may be tasked with other functions and are expected to complete those tasks with the same level of enthusiasm and dedication as you would with your normal job duties.
