About The Position

Stepp’s Towing & Heavy Transport is looking to add Light Duty Tow Truck Operators to our team! We value a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and effective problem-solving abilities.

No Slip Seating – Keep Your Assigned Truck!

All drivers must have their own set of tools once assigned to a truck.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial motor vehicle driving experience required
• Current DOT Medical Card required before the 1st day of work
• Clean driving record required for at least the past 3 years
• MUST be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
• Registered in the DOT Clearinghouse (For CDL holders only)

Nice To Haves

• Prior towing experience or related field preferred but not required!

Responsibilities

• Respond to accidents, breakdowns, and roadside incidents
• Maintain communication with motorists while en route
• Perform basic repairs or tow vehicles to garages
• Safely load vehicles onto the truck
• Remove illegally parked vehicles
