About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Toyota Automotive Service Shop Team Lead to oversee daily operations within our dealership’s service department. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive automotive repair knowledge, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team of technicians, ensure quality repairs, and maintain high standards of automotive service excellence. Candidates with dealership experience and expertise in modern vehicle systems are highly preferred.

Requirements

• Proven Toyota dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and service management
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Shop Team Lead strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of automotive technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality repairs
• Oversee repairs on various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, alignment, and diesel engines.
• Collaborate with service advisors to ensure accurate and timely communication with customers regarding repair status and estimated completion times.
• Provide technical guidance and support to technicians, assisting with complex repairs and troubleshooting.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
• Review repair orders for accuracy and completeness before vehicle release
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
• Stay updated on the latest automotive repair techniques and industry standard
