About The Position

Seeking a Tracking Systems Engineer to support the development and deployment of advanced ground operational systems for the SDA Ground Management & Integration Program. This role supports mission-critical tracking capabilities for space-based systems within a secure DoD environment.

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
8+ years of relevant experience (or Master’s degree + 6 years experience)
Experience supporting the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience with tracking mission design
Knowledge of satellite communications (SATCOM)
Experience working in Agile environments
Ability to work on-site in support of secure program requirements

Nice To Haves

Department of Defense TS/SCI clearance (preferred at time of hire)

Responsibilities

Support the systems engineering lifecycle (requirements, design, integration, test, and deployment) for tracking systems
Contribute to the design and implementation of tracking mission solutions for space-based platforms
Integrate tracking systems with satellite communications (SATCOM) and ground infrastructure
Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams including software, hardware, and mission operations
Identify and implement technology improvements and process enhancements
Provide technical leadership and support customer engagements as required
