About the position
The position involves driving a tractor-trailer vehicle to designated locations and operating mechanized loading/unloading equipment. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Responsibilities
- Drive tractor-trailer vehicle to designated locations.
- Operate mechanized loading/unloading equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Six (6) months FedEx Express experience preferred.
- Ability to drive manual transmission preferred.
- Ability to operate mechanized loading/GSE.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
- Customer contact & package handling experience preferred.
- Good human relations & verbal communication skills.
- Neat appearance since customer contact is involved.
