About The Position

The Trade Activation Manager exists to translate commercial and brand strategy into effective, scalable trade programs for chain and retail customers. The role ensures that sales teams are equipped with the right programs, tools, and platforms to win at the point of sale, drive execution excellence, and accelerate share growth. This position bridges Marketing, Sales, and Wholesale teams by designing and implementing customer-centric trade activations, managing day-to-day sales enablement needs, and co-leading digital trade engagement platforms. It ensures consistency, speed, and impact in trade execution while continuously testing and scaling performance-based programs such as trial and pay-for-performance initiatives. Ultimately, the role exists to make trade activation a measurable growth lever, improving sales effectiveness, customer execution, and return on trade investment across chain accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
  • 3-6 years work experience in Trade & Consumer Marketing
  • Fluent English

Responsibilities

  • Lead chain-side trade activation
  • Own the design and execution of trade programs for chain retailers in close partnership with the Sales Force and Wholesale Managers. Ensure programs are aligned with customer strategies, portfolio priorities, and national commercial objectives;
  • Partner with Sales and Wholesale teams
  • Act as a day-to-day trade activation partner for Sales. Support Wholesale Managers in building customer-specific programs, promotional mechanics, and execution plans that drive distribution, visibility and volume;
  • Manage ongoing sales enablement requests
  • Oversee the creation, update, and deployment of sell sheets and trade support materials. Prioritize requests, ensure message consistency, and deliver timely, field-ready tools that support sales conversations with chain accounts;
  • Co-lead Trade Engagement Platform implementation
  • Co-lead the rollout, adoption, and optimization of the Trade Engagement platform. Work cross-functionally with Digital, Sales, and Marketing to drive usage, improve field efficiency, and translate platform insights into actionable trade programs;
  • Develop and execute trial and performance-based programs
  • Design, pilot, and scale trial trade programs, including P4P initiatives. Define mechanics, KPIs, and success criteria; monitor performance; and recommend optimizations or national rollouts based on results.
