Requirements

• Proven customer service experience where you've consistently delivered exceptional results and built strong customer relationships
• A genuine sales mentality - target-driven, proactive, and not afraid to pick up the phone to follow up on leads or check in with customers
• Computer literacy including Outlook, internet, and ability to learn CRM systems quickly

Nice To Haves

• Previous sales, quoting, or trade counter experience highly regarded
• Trade background or exposure to the construction/coatings industry (comprehensive product training provided) also highly regarded
• Forklift licence advantageous
• Enthusiastic and helpful nature, strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a small team

Responsibilities

• Delivering exceptional face-to-face service to walk-in trade and business customers, becoming the trusted expert they rely on for solutions
• Proactively building and nurturing client relationships through regular follow-ups, outbound calls to new prospects
• Managing phone and email enquiries with the same level of expertise and care as your in-person interactions, processing orders efficiently while identifying opportunities to add value
• Applying your growing technical knowledge to help customers select the right products for their specific applications
• Contributing to the growth of APC's Perth presence by validating leads, researching opportunities, and taking initiative to expand the customer base
• Supporting the efficient operation of the branch through light warehouse duties, including receiving stock and preparing orders for collection
• Eventually assisting with and delivering product training to customers, positioning yourself as an industry expert
